The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday carried out extensive search operations at multiple premises linked to the LNCT Group, one of Central India's prominent educational institutions. The raids were conducted at locations associated with LNCT Group founder Anupam Chouksey and businessman Dharmendra Gupta in Bhopal, Indore, and Bilaspur. Preliminary reports suggest that investigators have recovered a substantial quantity of gold and cash worth several crores of rupees during the operation.

According to sources familiar with the investigation, the searches were launched as part of an ongoing probe into alleged financial irregularities and suspected violations under provisions related to money laundering. The coordinated action involved several ED teams simultaneously conducting searches across the three cities.

Multiple Locations Under Scanner

The operation began early in the day, with ED officials reaching various residential and business premises linked to the individuals under investigation. Security personnel accompanied the teams to ensure the smooth execution of the searches and prevent any disruption.

Officials reportedly examined financial records, digital devices, property-related documents, and other materials that could provide evidence relevant to the investigation. While the agency has not yet released an official statement detailing the exact nature of the allegations, sources indicate that the inquiry is focused on tracing financial transactions and identifying the source of funds linked to the case.

Large Cash and Gold Recovery Reported

Sources claim that a significant amount of unaccounted cash and gold was discovered during the searches. The exact value of the seized assets is still being assessed, and officials are expected to complete a detailed inventory after the operation concludes.

The recovery of high-value assets has intensified public interest in the case, particularly given the stature of the LNCT Group in the education sector and its presence across several states. Investigators are expected to scrutinize the seized documents and valuables to determine whether they are connected to any alleged financial misconduct.

Investigation Continues

The ED is likely to question key individuals connected to the case after examining the evidence collected during the raids. Further action will depend on the findings of the investigation and forensic analysis of the seized records. As of now, neither the LNCT Group nor the individuals named in the searches have issued an official response regarding the ED action. The investigation remains underway, and more details are expected to emerge in the coming days.
