The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has declared the SSC (Class 10) results on Friday, witnessing a robust pass percentage of 92.09%. Out of 15,55,026 registered students, as many as 15,42,472 took the exams. Among them, 14,20,486 students were declared qualified in the exams, reflecting a strong academic performance in the 2025-26 exams.

Girls outperform boys again

The consistent trend during board exam results persisted here too, as the girls outclassed boys again. The pass percentage among female students stood at 94.96%, while boys logged a pass rate of 89.56%. 

Konkan leads in division-wise rankings

In terms of the division-wise performance, Konkan took the top spot with an outstanding pass rate of 97.62%. Kolhapur stood second on the list with 95.47%, while Mumbai claimed the third spot with 94.97%.

Pune posted a commendable pass rate of 94.24%, whereas Nashik and Amravati reported 90.53% and 90.50% respectively. Latur stood at the bottom of the list with 88.42%. 

Kolhapur leads the charts at the district level

At the district level, Kolhapur led the charts with 80.44%, and was seconded by Nashik at 79.90%. Here too, Latur stood last at 63.72%. 

State sees limited high scorer above 90%

Despite the huge overall pass percentage, only 12,036 students managed to secure 90% or above. These top performing students constitute just 4.71% of the total number of successful students, indicating a relatively narrow high-achievement bracket.

  1. Visit the official website of MSBSHSE
  2. Click on the link which reads “Maharashtra SSC Result 2026” located on the homepage
  3. Enter the required login credentials and submit the details
  4. The scorecard will appear on the screen
  5. Download it and print its copy for future references

Notably, the Maharashtra SSC 2026 exams were conducted from February 20 to March 18, 2026, in a single shift from 11 am to 1 pm.
