Invest in MP: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav reached Jaipur on Saturday, where he made a strong pitch to the investors, urging them to ‘invest in MP’ while underlining the deep-rooted ties between the two states. Addressing a session titled ‘Investment Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh,’ he described the two states as ‘brothers’ bound by history and shaped progress. 


Leading industrialists and representatives of key business groups showed up at the event, signalling growing interest in MP’s expanding economic landscape.

CM Dr Yadav reflects on centuries-old bonds


CM Dr Yadav, speaking ahead of the event, told the media that the relationship between Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan dates back thousands of years. He underlined that both states have consistently progressed through their inherent strengths and capabilities. In his statements, he credited Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi for strengthening these ties further. He also lauded Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma, and asserted that the state is being led efficiently. He added that Rajasthan holds immense potential across sectors, enriched by its legacy of valour and tradition. 

Invest in MP: CM points towards river-linking project


Continuing his statements, CM Dr Yadav pointed to the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal (PKC) river-linking project, which is jointly being implemented by MP and Rajasthan. He said the initiative would step up water distribution significantly in both states. He said, “When we can collaborate on water resources, there should be no barriers in expanding trade and investment opportunities.” 

Investors provided an overview of state’s industrial policy


CM Dr Yadav then interacted with top industrial groups, presenting Madhya Pradesh as a stable and investor-friendly destination. He also shared a detailed overview of the state’s industrial policy, sector-specific initiatives, developed industrial zones, infrastructure expansion and logistics network. Meanwhile, officials showcased the rapid strides scaled by MP in renewable energy and infrastructure, including the development of eight airports and allocation of 1 lakh acres of land for industrial use. The investors were also apprised of capital subsidies of up to 40% under new industry policies aimed at improving business ease.

Notably, MP also offers strong opportunities in dairy, food processing, agriculture and horticulture, where it remains a leading producer. Key projects by the state include land allocation in the PM Mita Park, a 1500-acre industrial zone in Sagar, and emerging key opportunities in Vikram Udyogpuri and the Dhar industrial area. 

Rajasthan industry chief praises CM Dr Yadav’s leadership


KL Jain, President of the Rajasthan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, lauded CM Dr Yadav’s leadership, saying that Madhya Pradesh has witnessed accelerated industrial growth and is poised for a significant leap forward.
