Movie logs strong advance booking trend

If the latest sales data are to be believed, Peddi has seen an impressive response from audiences nationwide. The film has sold more than 3.85 lakh tickets so far over 6,100 scheduled shows, generating close to Rs 9.29 crore in gross advance sales without considering block bookings.

With the block bookings included, the advance booking figure soars to around Rs 15.4 crore gross, underlining the massive anticipation surrounding the film.

The original Telugu version continues to lead the ticket sales, accounting for the overwhelming majority of bookings. More than 3.70 lakh tickets have been sold for the Telugu screenings alone, contributing as much as Rs 9 crore in advance revenue. The Hindi version, meanwhile, has posted modest numbers so far, while Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada versions have recorded comparatively limited traction.

Telangana has added Rs 4 crore, compounding the film’s domestic performance.

In terms of major centres, Hyderabad has taken the lead with advance collections exceeding Rs 2.3 crore. Visakhapatnam stands second on the list with around Rs 1.37 crore, while Vijayawada, Kakinada, Warangal and Guntur have also delivered encouraging numbers.
