Raja Shivaji, the historical action drama starring Riteish Deshmukh has continued its remarkable box office run, shattering the Rs 50 crore mark within just five days of release and cementing its position as the fourth highest-grossing Marathi film of all time. Marathi version contributes significantly to success
In the film’s performance, a clear trend has come to the fore, as its Marathi version is spearheading its success. On Tuesday alone, the Marathi version contributed Rs 3.34 crore from 1851 shows, registering an occupancy rate of 33%.
In contrast, the Hindi-dubbed version managed to rake in only Rs 1.55 crore, despite a wider reach with 3,634 shows. The figures reflect a strong regional connection with the story of Maratha King Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
