According to early estimates, the film grossed Rs 73 crore net in India by 8 pm on Friday, pushing its domestic earning to a whopping Rs 218 crore. The thriller had already minted Rs 43 crore through paid previews on Wednesday. Despite the conclusion of festivals like Ugadi and Gudi Padwa across the country on Friday, the film sealed a solid 56% occupancy in the morning and noon shows, which is considered a remarkable figure for a weekday. The film boasts as many as 14,000 shows nationwide and strong occupancy across both urban centres as well as mass circuits.
