Trade estimates shared by Sacnilk

If the trade estimates provided by Sacnilk are to be believed, the film has already amassed Rs 28.19 crore as on Sunday, through real ticket sales in advance bookings in India. If the block seat bookings are included, the amount rises to Rs 32.84 crore. Mumbai has already sold nearly 50% of its available tickets for the opening phase, while Hyderabad has reached 75% pre-sales. Silicon valley Bengaluru has also witnessed a robust interest, with occupancy standing at 60% through advance bookings.

The Hindi 2D format constitutes a major chunk of sales, with more than 151,953 tickets already booked.

Maharashtra leads the chart

Region-wise, Maharashtra leads the chart in advance box office collections with around Rs 2.34 crore, followed by Karnataka with Rs 1.75 crore. Delhi has generated close to Rs 1.61 crore. Observers in the industry underlined that the film is drawing comparisons with other box-office hits such as Animal, Pushpa 2: The Rule, KGF: Chapter 2 and Baahubali2: The Conclusion. Where Baahubali 2 still reigns supreme with its all-time North American premiere record at $4.3 million and Rs 37.53 crore domestically, Dhurandhar 2 has already crossed $1.31 million in the US premiere market, according to Sacnilk.
