MP Political news 2026: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav launched a book titled 'Climate Resilient Future' on Friday, which outlines a comprehensive environmental roadmap aimed at crafting a sustainable and climate-adaptive future for the state.

Addressing the attendees of the launch event, CM Dr Yadav said that 'Vision 2047' is a long-term strategic framework centred on biodiversity conversion and community-based forest management. He added that the initiative to launch the book aligns with India's objective to emerge as a developed nation by 2047. The book, as per CM Dr Yadav, underscores steps to ensure ecological resilience amid snowballing climate challenges.

The Chief Minister went on to say that 'Vision 2047' provides a framework for forest governance, integration of ecosystem services, measures to adapt with climate and afforestation drives. He further said that the book reflects on the significance of shielding biodiversity, while promoting sustainable utilization of natural resources. The book's aim is also to enhance ecological services that contribute to water conservation, soil stability and carbon sequestration.

Continuing his statements, CM Dr Yadav said that community-driven conservation efforts would play a pivotal role in addressing climate change and preserving the natural ecosystems for future generations.





According to the Department of Public Relations (DPR) of MP, a key highlight of the book's strategy is to empower local communities by ramping up their participation in forest management. The plan is aimed at improving livelihoods through sustainable forestry practices, while also ensuring a long-term conservation of biodiversity.
