MP Government news 2026: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav on Thursday issued strict directives to ensure duly attendance of government officers and government employees posted across key establishments in Bhopal. The Chief Minister said that works related to public interest are the government's top priority, and delay in citizen-related works will not be tolerated at any cost.





Enforce punctuality in Vallabh Bhawan, Vindhyachal Bhawan









Continuing his statements, CM Dr Yadav said that punctuality be strictly enforced in administrative offices located in Bhopal, such as Vallabh Bhawan, Vindhyachal Bhawan and Satpura Bhawan, along with other government offices in the city. He added that the employees not adhering to the instructions shall be subject to strict action.





Employees must remain present in office between 10am-6pm









As per the CM's directive, all the government officers and employees must remain present in their offices between 10 am and 6 pm. The authorities have been entrusted with the responsibility to monitor attendance records, arrival and departure timings, and unauthorized absence of employees.





Special teams roped in for monitoring





Adhering to CM Dr Yadav's instructions, the general administration department has roped in special monitoring teams and has deployed them at various government offices in the state capital.





Zero tolerance towards negligence





The Chief Minister made it clear in his directives that the laxity or procrastination by the government officials and employees with regard to public welfare initiatives will not be tolerated at all. He underscored that timely execution of responsibilities is mandatory, failing to do which shall invite strict administrative action against the official/employee concerned.
