The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) on Thursday declared the Class 10 board exam results for the academic year 2025-26, in which the students recorded an overall pass rate of 89.60%. The board had conducted the exams between February 25 and March 20 this year, which was taken by as many as 2,76,640 students. Out of this, 2,47,860 students were declared qualified in the exam, underlining a consistent academic performance trend in Haryana’s secondary education system.

Girls lead the charts again
The girl students continued the notable trend of surpassing their male counterparts. Female students secured a pass percentage of 91.64%, edging the male students whose pass rate froze at 87.69%. Of the 1,33,530 girls who took the exam, 1,22,367 managed to clear them. In comparison, 1,25,493 boys out of the appearing 1,43,110 passed the exam.
Deepika from Adarsh Senior Secondary School in Bhiwani emerged as the state’s topper. Meanwhile, Ronak from Dadri, Khusi and Antu from Hisar and Deepanshu from Mahendragarh jointly claimed the second spot, scoring 498 marks each.
The third position saw 11 contenders, with 497 marks each. Among them were names like Kavyansh, Deeksha, Shakshi, Aarzoo, Manshi, Aashoo and Manuraj.

Rural students outperform urban ones
Notably, as per the region-wise statistics released by the board, the students from rural areas outperformed their urban counterparts in the recently-held exam. Where the urban areas logged a pass rate of 87.94%, the rural regions clocked a pass percentage of 90.25%. The private schools yet again surpassed government institutions in terms of overall results. The private school students saw a pass percentage of 92.54%, compared to 87.23% in government schools.
Dadri tops in terms of district rankings, Nuh trails
In terms of the district-wise rankings, Dadri shone, and was seconded by Jind. Panipat and Mahendragarh jointly claimed the third spot, showcasing strong regional performances in the Class 10 board exam. At the other end of the spectrum, Nuh has witnessed the lowest pass percentage among all districts.
