Saronic’s Chief Technology Officer innovation marks a new chapter in maritime technology. Indian- American Engineer and Entrepreneur Vibhav Altekar has come into the spotlight after a drone boat developed by his company. The self-driving vessel, called Corsair, helped rescue two US Army members, making it one of the first known rescue missions involving a self-driven surface vehicle.

Altekar is also the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Saronic Technologies, a Texas based company that builds autonomous boats for self-defence and maritime operations. His work in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics has helped create systems that can operate safely and effectively in challenging sea conditions.
