MP CM Dr Yadav rides EV through alleys of Bhopal, clicks selfie with board's Class 12 topper Chandni Vishwakarma
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav on Monday visited Bhopal’s Bhim Nagar as part of the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan,’ where he interacted with the local residents and reviewed the concerns of the commoners. However, distancing himself from a usual protocol, he left his official convoy behind and travelled through the narrow lanes as well as alleys of the locality on an electric two-wheeler.
CM Dr Yadav visits house of Class 12 topper
During his visit, the Chief Minister also called on Chandni Vishwakarma, the girl who topped the MP Board Class 12 exams 2026. He visited her house and interacted with her family members. He congratulated Chandni on her outstanding academic achievement and extended his best wishes for her future.
He also clicked selfies with Chandni and her family, creating memorable moments during the visit.
Addressing the media during this, the state’s top political leader said that Chandni had brought laurels to the state through her exceptional performances in the Class 12 board exams. He underlined that her success was particularly inspiring as she had achieved it despite numerous hurdles. He said, “Chandni’s dedication, perseverance and determination are commendable. Her achievement will encourage countless students across the state and it is a matter of pride for Madhya Pradesh.”
Public outreach programme organised on PM Modi’s 12-yr-tenure completion
CM Dr Yadav further said the public outreach programme was organised to mark the completion of 12 successful years of Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi’s tenure. Along with the office bearers of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), he interacted directly with residents and paid heed to their concerns.
CM Dr Yadav also shed light on his experience of riding an EV two-wheeler during the visit. He said EVs not only help reduce fuel expenses but also lower several other costs linked to transportation. He added that driving the vehicle was a pleasant experience.
Residents surprised by CM’s visit
The atmosphere in Bhim Nagar appeared visibly different throughout the day as residents gathered to catch a glimpse of CM Dr Yadav. Many were surprised to see him walking as a common man through the locality and interacting with people at close quarters.
