MP CM Dr Yadav launches third phase of Jal Ganga Sanwardhan Abhiyan in Indore
MP CM Indore: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister (CM) Dr Mohan Yadav on Thursday launched the third phase of the ‘Jal Ganga Sanwardhan Abhiyan’ in Indore, on the occasion of Hindu New Year and Gudi Padwa. The move comes as the state government’s reaffirmation to water conservation.
CM offers Gangajal into ISKCON temple pond

CM Dr Yadav inaugurated the campaign by offering the sacred Gangajal into a pond situated on the premises of the ISKCON temple in Indore. The gesture marked the commencement of a large-scale initiative aimed at restoring and preserving water resources across Madhya Pradesh. CM Dr Yadav then extended greetings on the occasion of Gudi Padwa and the Hindu New Year, and underlined the cultural and ecological importance of water conservation.
MP CM Indore: Campaign to remain in force till June 30
The Chief Minister announced the campaign’s roadmap, asserting that it will continue until Ganga Dussehra, and will conclude on June 30, 2026. He added that numerous activities will be carried out across all districts, urban bodies and gram panchayats of the state, while ensuring participation from the general public.
He said, “From Gudi Padwa to Ganga Dussehra, we will work in consonance to protect our water resources. MP is the maternal home of rivers, and preserving them is both our responsibility and cultural duty.”
