A viral video from the Civil Hospital in Madhya Pradesh’s Mauganj district has sparked concerns over healthcare practices after an outsourced woman employee was allegedly seen administering injections and intravenous saline to patients in the general ward. Following the circulation of the footage, the district administration has ordered an inquiry into the matter.

The incident has once again brought attention to the condition of healthcare facilities in Mauganj, nearly three years after it was granted district status. Despite the administrative upgrade, questions continue to be raised over the quality of medical services available at the district headquarters hospital.

Outsourced Employee Allegedly Seen Performing Medical Procedures

The video, reportedly recorded inside the general ward of the Civil Hospital, shows a D-grade outsourced employee freely attending to patients. In the footage, the woman can allegedly be seen administering injections and attaching saline bottles to patients without any apparent supervision.

The visuals have triggered criticism and concern, with many questioning whether non-medical staff were being allowed to carry out procedures that are typically performed by trained healthcare professionals.

Administration Orders Investigation

After the video went viral on social media, Mauganj Collector took cognisance of the issue and ordered an inquiry into the allegations. Authorities are expected to examine the authenticity of the footage and determine whether established medical protocols were violated.
