PSEB Class 10 Results 2026 Out: Harleen Sharma shines with 99.38%; girls, rural students exhibit splendid performances

The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) on Monday announced the PSEB Class 10 Results 2026 for the board exams held from March to April this year. The results were announced by the board officials at 12:30 pm, where they shared insights, such as toppers’ names, district wise performance and overall pass rate.

Harleen Sharma assumed the first position on the merit list this year, scoring an exceptional 646 out of 650 marks, achieving a percentage of 99.38%. Close on her heels are Manimahesh Sharma and Riya Reni, who shared the second rank with 645 marks each, translating to 99.23%. 

Overall pass percentage

As many as 2,69,505 students took the PSEB Class 10 exams this year, of whom 2,54,744 were declared qualified. This pushed the overall pass rate to a splendid 94.52%.

Girls once again outshone boys in the matriculation results, boasting a pass percentage of 95.96%. Boys, meanwhile, clocked a pass rate of 93.23%. In a notable trend, students from rural areas surpassed their urban counterparts in terms of overall performance. Rural regions saw a pass rate of 95.35%, while urban areas lagged marginally behind at 92.38%.

PSEB Class 10 Result 2026: Steps to check

  1. Students who took the PSEB Class 10 exams 2026 may follow the stepwise process mentioned below to access their scores.
  2. Visit the official website pseb.ac.in
  3. Click on the results link’ on the homepage
  4. Select the option which reads “Punjab Class 10 Result 2026”
  5. Enter the required login credentials and submit them
  6. The scorecard will appear on the screen. Download it and print a copy for future references

The students have been advised to keep a printed copy of the scorecard, which would prove fruitful for further admission processes.
