Global Markets Downturn Amid US-Iran Tensions and Peace Talks

Today lots of ups and down was seen in the market Because of the dilemma of peace talks between US and Israel and agains the attackes of America on Iran there was seeen negaitive sentiments in the market and selling of Foreign investors there is a decline and market closed today with a decrease of 160.73 points at 75237.99 and the Nifty closed with a decrease of 46.10 points at 23643.50. In today's trading also , geopolitical tension across the border was seen, the prices of Crude oil have gone down by 110 dollars per barrel since the Strait of Hormuz is not open yet and are more likely the situation is not much clear but if it goes up the risk of inflation will increase. Today the share price of Media , Banking, and Realty sector saw the most significant losses.
Today, a decline was seen in the Asian Markets also, Japan Nikkei closed with a decrease of 1.99% of 1244.76 points at 61409.29 points , while Chinese markets Shanghai Composite Index closed today with a decrease of 1.02% of 42.53 points at 4135.39 , the South Koreas kospi Index decreased by 6.12% by 488.23 points and closed at 7493.18 points and Hangseng Index of Hongkong was closed today with a decrease of 1.62% by 426.31 points at 25962.73 points.The American markets on 14th May 2026 closed with a increase , Dow Jones increased by 0.75% by 370.26 points and closed at 50063.46 points whereas S&P 500 index increased by 0.77% by 56.99 points and closed at 7501.24 points.
